Andy Schmitz is a chaplain in the U.S. Army. He is the incoming bioethicist at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Christian Ethics and Public Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he is a fellow in the University of Chicago’s Siegler Fellowship in Clinical Medical Ethics.
