Dr. Jong Eun Lee is an assistant professor of political science at North Greenville University. His research specialty includes U.S. foreign policy, South Korean politics and foreign policy, alliance management, East Asia’s regional security. He has published peer-reviewed articles in Comparative Strategy and Journal of Peace and Unification (JPU); commentaries and op-eds in The Conversation, The Diplomat, The National Interest, Responsible Statecraft, East Asia Forum, Channel News Asia, Foreign Analysis, Eurasia Review, 19FortyFive, and The Korea Times. He holds a PH.D. from the American University School of International Service, an MA in Political Science from Fordham University, and a BA (Honors) in political science from the American University School of Public Affairs.
