Mark E. Grotelueschen

Dr. Mark E. Grotelueschen teaches and serves as the Deputy Department Head for Academics in the Department of Military and Strategic Studies at the US Air Force Academy.  A 27-year veteran of the Air Force, he is the author of The AEF Way of War: The American Army and Combat in World War I, and, most recently, the editor of The Harmon Memorial Lectures in Military History, 1988-2017.  He is writing a biography of Dwight D. Eisenhower for Oxford University Press’s Spiritual Lives series.
