Randall Fowler (Ph.D. Maryland) is Assistant Professor and Foundational Course Director of Communication at Abilene Christian University. He is a former Fulbright fellow to Jordan. His books include More Than a Doctrine: The Eisenhower Era in the Middle East, Something to Fear: FDR and the Foundations of American Insecurity, 1912-1945, and Securing the Prize: Presidential Metaphor and US Intervention in the Persian Gulf.
