ProvCast Ep. 34: The Future of Venezuela: A Conversation with Paul Coyer

By Paul Coyer on June 3, 2019

Venezuela

Paul Coyer is a research professor at the Institute of World Politics in Washington, DC, as well as an associate professor at l’Ecole Speciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr, the French Army’s equivalent of West Point. He is also a non-resident senior fellow at Italia-Atlantica, a foreign policy think tank based in Rome, Italy.

Dr. Coyer’s writings have been published in the United States and around the world, including in Forbes, The Washington Times, The Imaginative Conservative, Azeri Today (Azerbaijan), and the Kyiv Post (Ukraine), as well as policy-oriented journals such as Revue Conflits: Histoire, Géopolitique et Relations Internationales (France), and by academic publishers such as National Defense University Press and Oxford University Press. He has recently published a book chapter on the ethics of nationalism (National Defense University Press), as well as a book in Italy on that topic (L’Etica del Nazionalismo). He also speaks and publishes on Russia, China, trans-Atlantic relations, the role of hostile extra-hemispheric powers in Latin America, and international religious liberty.

He is a member of the International Institute of Strategic Studies.
