George E Assousa, a physicist born in Jerusalem in 1936, is the founder of the Dual Democracies Initiative, a distillation of almost 50 years of international engagement in the search for Israeli-Palestinian peace, security, and reconciliation.
The Dual Democracies Initiative (DDI) offers a solution based on the principle that if Israelis, Palestinians, Jews, and Arabs are going to live together, they should learn to benefit from each other.
