Thomas (Tom) J. Wilson is a foreign policy specialist with experience at USAID, the Department of Defense, Congress, and the private sector. A lifelong history enthusiast, Tom has a particular interest in British, American, and global history. Prior to moving to Washington, he worked for several years planning the European Leadership Forum. Tom grew up near Chicago and has degrees from the University of Chicago and Wheaton College. When he’s not at his desk, Tom enjoys being involved in his church and community. Most recently that includes co-hosting a monthly gathering called the New Whigs, a homage to the political culture that the group aspires to revive (@new_whigs on Twitter).
